Use a product called loc-tite. It can be applied to the threads of the antenna. Once the antenna has been tightened, the loc-tite will make it very difficult to remove.

More modern vehicles are more difficult to steal. Nearly all GM products made since 2000 have factory installed anti theft systems. Basically, if there is any attempt to start the engine with anything but the correct key the system will activate and the ignition system is disabled. It is very difficult get around this system. But never say never. Even more modern GM products have On Star. If you have On Star and report the vehicle stolen, On Star will contact the police and give them the location of the vehicle. If the vehicle is traveling on the road when the police come in contact with the vehicle, On Star will activate the 4 way flashers so the police can positively identify the vehicle. Then when the police are ready the ignition can be remotely disabled and the police can apprehend the thief with little drama. No high speed chase to watch on TV. The Club is useless if someone really wants your car. If I wanted to take a car that had a club installed I would simply use a cordless Saws-All and cut through the steering wheel. The club is hardened but the steering wheel is soft mild steel. A Saws-All with a sharp blade could cut through just about any steering wheel in about 15 to 20 seconds. To add insult to injury I would leave the locked club where the car was parked. One simple thing you could do is to find the wires that go to your fuel pump. Install a toggle switch in a hidden location that will cut the power to the fuel pump. Even if the thief gets far enough that they can bypass the anti theft system and crank the engine, your hidden switch would not allow the engine to start. Cost would be less than $10.

If you are talking about the kind that go on VW's and Audi's, there is a kind that has an additional screw that prevents the antennae from being directly unscrewed. The screw goes in the side and is usually a special type, i.e. not a typical flathead or phillips screw. It's not 100% foolproof because the thief just need the correct type of screwdriver to unscrew it, but it is a little better.

Are people actually doing this?....stealing car antennas? Dang. I feel bad about that. I think if it is a personal attack on you, I would be afraid of them keying the car if they can't get to your antenna. I guess if the problem were bad enough, I would take of the new and put a cracked antenna on when you park. If this isn't a personal attack on you and people just want antennas, I would to use a very strong adhesive bonding agent or I would eliminate the antenna and put in a motorized retractable antenna or one that mounts under the hood. Peace and good luck
