Some people don't like to be alone. Others are just very social. Sometimes friends become closer than family members.
Stop looking at it as though they are trying to avoid something else and realize that they want to be with you.

It can be as simple as lack of confidence or it can be that one simply loves company. This is a very relative question and there is no answer to generalise the situation.
Interdependance on the other hand is a great thing that keeps people going. But there is a huge difference in dependance and interdependance.

They like company... thats why. Maybe they bring you along or whatever becuase they want you opinion on things. Its totally normal. Some people are like that and some are not.. It could be a bad or good thing. it depends how you view it.From my own experience.. I go shopping by myself, I just dont need people breathing down my neck all the time. I need some alone time to collect my marbles. remember sometimes it could be annoying.

I think its a self esteem issue. They don't feel worthy enough unless they are with someone. They don't enjoy being alone.
I myself am independent and its not always a good thing. I find that some guys are turned off by this because I dont show a "need" for them.

Insecurity is a factor. Being fearful is another. The person has no sense of confidence in themselves so when they meet someone who is stonger then them in that department, they attach themselves to that person and become dependent on that person and see that person as a "security blanket".

The Lord intended for us to be a family. Whether one believes this or not or is not religious, this is true. We all depend on each other. For instance your clothes or shampoo.

because the person hasnt been given a chance to be independent or that he or she had not been force to be in such a situation. the friends or family always take too much care for this person. independence can be trained.
