It's impossible, how can a man marry his widow's sister when he's the one that is dead. You'll have to get up a bit earlier in the morning, to try and catch me out, fruitcake.

I assume it is now. I had a friend and his brother wanted to marry a third (deceased) brother's widow. They had to live together for a while and then got married when the law was changed somewhere in the late 60's/early 70's.
Stupid law, relating back to when the bible ruled our lives. Something to do with a brother must not uncover his brother's nakedness I seem to remember.
I presume this law also covers women.

To start off with his widow would be his wife so technically the answer to this is no, by reason of his death. The poor bloke wouldn't have marriage on his mind anyway, he'd be dead.
