I grew up with both, and had loads of fun with them. However, Legos win hands down. They hold to the test of time quite well - my nephews play with my old legos all the time - great toys to buy for kids all ages - keeps the imagination running. Beats video games in a heartbeat

Legoes. You can build a lot of stuff with them, like at Lego Land, than with Tinker Toys.

Legos are the best. I enjoyed playing with them as a child and enjoy them even more with my own 3 children.
