Does your recorder need DVD+Rs? If you look at the DVD logo on your recorder it should show whether its a + or - or even both. That'll tell you what discs you should use

To tell you the truth I'm not sure but there should definitely be a plus or minus sign under the logo on the actual recorder. Mine is underneath the RW logo on the opening. It says DVD+R DL. That means I can use DVD+R/RW discs and Dual Layer Discs.
Hope this helps.

Sure you have the right kind of recordable dvd's? I have mine at home so I can't check, but I think I use DVD+R
