2.32 in McKinney Texas. Look for gas to continue dropping as the price per barrel continues to drop. The close was roughly 64 dollars yesterday, and it is expected to drop more in the coming weeks. The reasons for the drop are simple, the summer driving season is over, and hurricane activity is lighter than expected, add to this refineries coming back online following last year's hurricane damage, and the fact that Iran has calmed down in it's rhetoric.

I just filled my tank in Leslie, Ar. @ 2.269 for 87 octane. I'd like to see it come down below 2.00 But was so glad to see that price. I'll never forget after Katrina hit. I was in Mobile, Al. It had jumped .80 overnight.

outrageous, just like everywhere. They told us this was going to happen. They took us up to over $3.00 a gallon so we would think we were getting a deal at $2.39 a gallon in Indiana. I never bought this idea.

That is not bad. Funny I am writing that since I remember when it was under $2. In central NJ, it is around $2.45/gallon.
