It's in the eye of the beholder :) If you like the total look yourself, who is to say you are wrong?

But... many beholders seem to prefer the following kind of features in a female face:

Strong bone structure. Plenty of cheek and nose ahead of the eyes, making the eyes "deepset". Large eyes, well spaced Well defined cheek bones. Nose well proportioned and lying across lower part of face rather than sticking out. Forehead not too prominent and perhaps set back slightly. Firm jaw line but not a heavy jaw. No saggy skin under jaw. Full lips. Features well proportioned in size and position. A good degree of symmetry. A heart shaped, round or oval face with smooth curves. Blemish free translucent skin showing some gentle shades of colour on cheeks. Most models will have many of these features.

It is possible or even desirable to have one prominent or unusual feature if the rest of the face is good. Eg Jennifer Aniston has a prominent chin but is still considered to be very beautiful. Prominent features in some areas seem more desirable. Eg prominent chins, cheeks, eyes or mouths tend to be more attractive while prominent noses, ears, foreheads or teeth tend to be considered less attractive.

Who knows why this is. It could be wired into our stoneage brains about what sort of person was likely to be a good survivor in that climate and thus carry ones genes forward producing desirable children. But whatever it is, we are stuck with the basics to a certain extent. Around this fashions of what looks best in a particular feature may change slightly with the ages. For example in Elizabethan times think a long wide forehead was considered the thing to have. That would not be true now

There is actually a mathematical formula that has determined the "perfect" facial proportions that are considered univerally attractive. Lots of the stars we think are model perfect like Brad Pitt and Heidi Klum fit the formula almost exactly.

But it is also true that sometimes the most striking people have one or two small deviations form that standard, like Penelope Cruz with her big eyes and long nose, or Angelina Jolie's big lips.

Other important factors are clear skin, healthy looking hair, and a fit body. Also, tall women are usually perceived as more attractive in photos.

Being proportional is the biggest thing. Supermodels are not that attractive. Don't read cosmo or anything like that. Real men don't like that
