www.makeupalley.com = hands down, the best. i've tried a bunch of others, and they don't compare. one of the best things is the live product posting board, which (at least the makeup section, but there are others too) is full of active posts 24-7, and people are always there ready to talk about makeup & answer questions. sometimes there are so many people there & board moves so fast, that i can't even keep up! lol. some posts have people's photos in them, that they just took on webcams, with new products and/or beautiful application jobs of eyeshadow or something, and they'll tell you how they did it. people are really friendly & helpful, and will send messages to each other through the forum to help you out, answer questions, etc. also, the EXTENSIVE list of products that people have reviewed... whenever i want to buy something at the store, i check makeup alley first, and see if people liked it. and in those reviews, there are plenty of tips & tricks for using those products. this site is really a fantastic resource!!

There is actually a fantastic book called Plastic Surgery Without the Plastic Surgery that can help you with basically any thing. If your library has it, get it. Also the best way to find good make up tips is to go to yahoo or google and Type in "Make Up" Tips USing the quotations, if you have specidic questions type them right in, I always find help. Mary Kay . Com actually has this cool thing on their website called 'virtual make-over' It will match the right colors for your skin, eye, and hair colors.

I usually use this, print it out, and go and find the colors to match it at local stores (just so I can use the brands I like best!)

Hope this helps! :)
