I told everyone right away!! In my PERSONAL opinion I just think that waiting until the 3rd months implies that you are not giving your pregnancy the confidence that everything will go just fine. It is up to you, whatever feels right for you to do.

I wanted to wait until the end of the first trimester when there would be less chance of the pregnancy ending in miscarriage. But each time I started throwing up and having NO energy - it was impossible to keep it a secret past about 8 weeks so we told folks then.

With our first and second, we let our close friends and family members know right after we found out (about 9 weeks). I found out about the third one at 6 weeks and told them then, but then miscarried the next week. This time around we waited a bit longer to about ten weeks, just because we were afraid of another miscarriage (I had some bleeding).

We waited until it was obvious something was going to happen with our second and third try. Believe me, everyone will know soon enough. Thank goodness we did not announce our first try, as it was a miscarriage after only three month's time. It was devastating.
Indeed, pregnant, with child, and expecting are very different things. Don't count your chick before it's hatched. But don't worry either. We now have two healthy girls.

I told family after I passed the 3 month mark both times. The first baby I told coworkers after 4 months (because I was about to show). With the second baby I didn't tell coworkers at all. I made them figure it out and ask me because drama at work had me upset with a lot of people, and I didn't want to share such wonderful news with a bunch of people who weren't being very kind to me until I had to. That was around 5 1/2 months.

I waited until after the first trimester. After then the chance of having a miscarriage is lower. After having a miscarriage in the 3rd month if I were to have another baby I would wait that long

my first one i told everyone i knew as soon as we found out, which felt uncomfortable at the time so i should of waited. we miscarried a few weeks later.
this time i told my mom because i needed advice on pregnancy issues and didn't want to wait because i wasn't sure if i was hurting the baby. we found out we were pregnant at 3 mos so i think i'll wait until we show to tell people so my hubby and i can adjust to the idea of having a baby before we have to deal with everyone elses emotions

I told immediate family and close friends pretty much right away, but people who are not as close I waited till I was in my second trimester. I figured the pregnancy was safe by then. If you are working it is up to you when and how to tell your boss. I was not sick with my first pregnancy so I informed the boss when I was wearing maternity clothes and needed more time for dr. appts. and such.

We told our parents a couple of weeks after we found out. When I was a little over 3 months pregnant we told everyone else.
