Other than the un-sets (like unglued) the newest strongest creature is actually a token creature:
Marit Lage 20/20 is generated by the Dark Depths land card from Coldsnap.
However, the highest combined power/toughness printed on a creature card is Krosan Cloudscraper from Legions at 13/13
The highest single toughness on a printed creature is Autochthon Wurm from Ravnica at 9/14

I know this isn't the strongest creature, but it is certainly the most effective creature that I'm aware of----Kokusho, the evening star.---Also here is another great creature---Haunted horror, it's a 7/7 creature with trample for two black mana. It puts two 3/3 tokens under your opponents control though but if you have Leyline of singularity in play, they both die automatically as soon as they come into play. A second turn 7/7 creature is really good. Side note: leyline can be played for 0 mana if it's in your opening hand.
