the answer is a little time consuming but works a treat, presuming the alloys are of a silver colour pop to your nearest model shop and purchase a pot of silver humbrol enamel paint(the type you paint airfix models with) also buy a pot of humbrol gloss varnish.
then you need to ad layer after layer of the right colour to the scuff until it is almost filled, then cover the whole scuff with the varnish and leave to dry for a good 24 hours, the result is quite good, although the repair can probably be seen at a closer look from a distance it looks good as new but be sure to get an enamel that matches your wheel(flake off a little bit of powdercoat and take it to the model shop with you)

......Best thing to use is a filler called Chemical metal. Apply to grazed/damaged area and rub down with wet and dry paper. You can buy small touch up sticks from local car accessory shops, ie Halfords, paint and finally paint over with Lacquer, also available as touch up stick.
If this is all a bit too much hassle, then take it to a Car paint shop who will refurb it for you for around £50. Good luck

John,
1st off, "fairy file" the scuffed bits off., and put the curb ding smooth. Then ++
A trick I picked up whilst working temporarily in the motor trade >
Well diluted battery acid, or similar, rubbed on with an old paintbrush, left for a few minutes, then washed down, brings them up a treat.
Best of luck, but mind your clothing. It's a bit vicious, yet works every time.

of course you're in charge for any and all harm which you reason. regardless of if the wheels are an "non-compulsory modification" on the different motor vehicle, you have been the only that brought about the wear and you are the only that has to pay for the fix or replace of the broken products. An exclusion on an coverage applies to differences on the insured motor vehicle, to no longer harm to different property.
