They won the FA Cup in 1903, and yes they did not concede a goal. They beat Wolves 1-0, Notts County 1-0, Aston Villa 3-0 and then Derby County 6-0 in the Final. The 6-0 scoreline for the Final remains a record.
The Final was played at Crystal Palace on 18th April 1903, and Bury's team
were :Monteith ,Lindsey ,McEwen ,Johnson ,Thorpe ,Ross ,
Richards ,Wood ,Sagar ,Leeming ,Plant
Ross, Sagar, Wood Plant and Leeming (2) were the scorers.
