Do not drink lemonade or eat beef jerky! When I was pregnant I learned stuff the hard way. I feel for you, but it will more then likely be over with soon. Mine lasted for three months. Every morning at 7 and every night at 9. Keep water and plain crackers handy. Some more advice is to always keep some apples around. Whenever I got hungry I would eat an apple and my stomach pains would disappear! Congrats!

Firstly, Congrats to you!! The morning sickness can be pretty nasty. I had it up until I was 23 weeks and tearing my hair out!! Anything really dry like crackers, cereal without milk, toast will help but make sure you eat them BEFORE you get out of bed. Ginger tea or Ginger Ale really works too. I think the trick is to ensure that your stomach is never empty....a little hard I know when you can't keep anything down but stick with it..it'll get better. Also, try asking your practitioner for vitamin B6 tablets. You take one of these with half a Unisom tablet at night before you sleep and it works wonders the next morning...that was a lifesaver for me. I hope you feel better soon. Good luck!

I feel the same way. I think it varies for each pregnancy. I hope it doesn't last too much longer. I am 7 weeks pregnant and it hit me really hard at 6 weeks. Try keeping crackers next to your bed and eat a few right when you wake up in the morning before you even get out of bed. I tried it and it works for me.

That hard to say it depends on you. When I was pregnant I was sick from the time the doctor told me, to the time I had to push him out. I lost 35 lbs! and was hospitalized 4 time. It was terrible but my oldest was a breeze, I was a little dizzy for the first three months and at like a pig gaining 75lbs. There is no method to baby magic/madness.

Every woman is different, the sickness can last a month or two or it can last the entire pregnancy. A few ways you can try to combat it:
Never let your stomach be completely empty, have small healthy snacks throughout the day.
Keep a box of unsalted crackers or rice cakes next to your bed and munch on them as soon as you wake up.

Everybody's different on that one but it's usually less once the 1st trimester is over. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was sick 24/7. I bought a pair of "Sea-bands" which are the motion sickness wrist bands. They really helped! When you have them on you feel fine. It's when you take them off that the feeling comes rushing back, but it's worth it to make it through the day.
Good luck!

It could end any time, or it could go till the end of the pregnancy, I'm afraid.
Try to keep small amounts of food in your stomach at all times. I believe most women feel worse when they have an empty stomach.
In Canada, you can get a medication that helps a lot - diclectin. Its legal and FDA approved in the US ... but nobody sells it. I don't know about other countries.

Anywhere from a few days to the whole time. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Most people are done by the time they reach the second trimester.
