Only if you want them to hire someone else. I wouldn't tell because its none of their business, and unfortunately, many employers still discriminate against pregnant women (which is why we have the Pregnancy Discrimination Act).

Besides, most doctors advise not telling people until you are 12 weeks along because of the miscarriage risk.

No.. you don't have to tell them.. and chances are they will find another reason to not hire you since they can't technically not hire you due to pregnancy. Potential employers don't want to hire someone that is going to be leaving for "maternity leave" shortly after starting a job. What they don't know won't hurt them.

They can't ask you legally. If it's a job with good benefits and something that you know you will enjoy and make a career out of you will need to weigh that against the fact that your employer may feel tricked and not trust you after you are hired. You will have to prove yourself after that. You may mention that you are planning on having children.

I probably wouldn't right away. How far along are you? He can't discriminate against you just because you are pregnant, but if he knew he might opt to find someone who might be there for longer than nine months working.
You are smart in looking for work now. You will need to build up hours to help you out with maternity leave benefits.
Good luck with this.
I prob wouldn't tell them right away if u aren't very far along..anything after three months i think u should prob tell.

What a friend of mine in this situation did is went through the job interview process w/o telling them. She got an offer and as she was about to accept it, she told them. At that point, they couldn't rescind the offer and she looked like a martyr for telling them so they could plan accordingly.

You are early in pregnancy I am assuming so I would not tell just to be on the safe side. Although they cant hold it against you legally, they can make another excuse.

No. It is none of their business. You are being interviewed about your qualification for the job, not what is going on in your personal life or your body.

they will find another reason not to hire you if you tell them.... they are not allowed to discriminate, but can get around that..... if you just found out, then no don't tell them.... then when you get the job, tell them you just found out. sad but true.

If you do not want the job, certainly.
