My experience is that guys don't like it when the girl is taller than them. I am 5'10 and guys have some kind of inferiority complex or something. Also, the average male is taller than the average female. Its ingrained in our culture both through interactions and genetically.

I prefer tall men because I'm a little tall myself. Not all women prefer tall men....I have plenty of short male friends who have no problem finding dates....they just tend to date the shorter ladies.
