I guess you already know that it's a good sign, or good luck; I was always taught that by my grandmother, and that you shouldn't bother them, if they do come inside; once we had an albino praying mantis in the house--double good luck!

I've never heard of one, but since the only thing I really know about praying mantis' is that they eat their significant other after mating, I'd get that thing the hell out of there.

my grandmother told me that one. its supposed to be very good luck to have one in the house. plus since they eat other insects, they are handy to have around. i think they are really cool looking as well. we dont get many around where i live so you are quite fortunate.

Bad luck if you bother them, they bit & won't let go.
