Be yourself, and he either will like (and eventually, love) you or not. You can't fake it, and you can't force anyone to like/love you. It has to come naturally! I fell in love with my wife because she was quiet, cute, and shy-she thought those were her worst qualities, and tried to hide them, at first. See the point?
