A pixie. I looked as sweet as tinkerbell. I hand sewn my outfit ...wore tights..and handmade curled toed slippers. I had a little bag that I held trinkets ...that I passed unto the others at a Halloween party (bells w/pretty satin string..so they could be tied onto things...fine glitter...that I sprinkled on whomever I played "cutesie" with...pretty gems and little miniture bouquets of flowers). At midnight I slipped into a black pixie outfit... that was a little more suggestive version of the other..darkened my make-up and passed out bugs n' creepy things out of my black satin bag. Many of my friends commented..especially because they had a good buzz at that time...the whole ordeal was pretty entertaining.

I've always been different variations of the same costume (not very original), but one year I did see a guy dressed as Toast! He glued two large peices of matress foam together leaving arm holes and cut out space for his face. Then took a blow torch and toasted the edges. Very original.

One year, I was working at a grocery store, I dressed up as a mime. I worked an eight hour shift and spoke to no one the whole day. I had index card printed up saying paper or plastic and debit or credit. The managers weren't too happy about it, but my co-workers and customers thought it was hysterical.

A friend of mine was a "One Night Stand" about 5 years ago. She made a night stand out of a cardboard box, wore a lamp shade on her head, and she glued down various objects onto the stand, like lipstick, an alarm clock, tissues, etc. It was great.

The wildest I did was Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra.

I have to admit that I've only been boring things for Hallowe'en. BUT, a friend of mine in high school one year wore bright tights, got a big clear cellophane bag, put lots of different colours of balloons in it, and went as a bag of jelly beans. It was fantastic!! :)
