me and a few friends really want to go to america next year for all of july we're all going to be 18 but we dont have much money :P anyone know a cheap place we could stay preferably in california? or even better a camp we could work at and get paid for?! thanks

America has a network of youth hostels exactly for the kind of trip you're thinking of. There is a fantastic string of hostels down the west coast that are cheap ... under $15 a night ... safe, and beautiful. Find American Youth Hostels on the net and sign up. You're in for a treat!

You can stay on the streets. Tht will make it really cheap.
