Almost all hospitals provide this service now. Just be sure to mention that you want a picture at the beginning of the scan. They can capture the image on screen at the push of a button so the sonographer will try to look out for the best shots for you.
You do generally have to pay though. I was given 3 pictures at my scan and charged £3.

Are you sure that you will be having a scan at your booking in appointment? Most hospitals handle the booking in appointment and the ultrasounds separately.

You should be allowed a picture - ask at reception when you arrive.

I had a scan at 10 weeks with my first as there was some confusion over dates
If they do scan, ask in advance for a picture so they set the machine right, some automatically do it, depends on the operator

Hi there most hospitals will let you have pictures at a small cost but you must ask at the start of the scan. Good luck hope all goes well for you!

Depends upon the hospital, and how far on you are.
Some only allow one at the anaomy scan stage, not the dating one.

Yes but you must remember to ask the person that scans you before it starts. It does cost too-- I think about £3.50 or something
