When seagulls go to sea the fishermen think it will be good weather because seagulls aint daft and wont go to sea if theres a storm a brewing.

Actually, I think it's the other way round: when the trawlers go out to sea, the seagulls fly. This phrase first came to public attention when Eric Cantona used it in a TV interview and left the entire nation puzzled. It doesn't take a lot of working out, though.
Seagulls follow trawlers because of the offal that is thrown overboard as the fish is cleaned. In this respect, they are regarded as scavengers living off the labour of others. Cantona was using this euphamism to describe the behaviour of certain people.

pasta, with tomato sauce and chilli is my favourite, prezzo is not bad, but home made is best.
there are many things on the menu at an italian restaurant, but I tend to think they are slightl over priced, as a national dish. Better value for money can be found at indian or chainese restaurants.
