The standard Monopoly set has 11 pieces: wheelbarrow, battleship, a money sack, horse and rider, car, dog, thimble, cannon, boot, iron, and top hat.
Over the last few years, Parker Brothers has licensed many different speciality versions of the game (Simpsons Monopoly, Star Wars Monopoly, etc.) many of which has its own game pieces. They've also produced a few "deluxe" editions that have different pieces. If you take all of those into account, you're probably looking at over 100 different pieces in existence.

In 2005, Hasbro launched the UK version of the "Here & Now Limited Edition", updating the properties and prices to reflect present-day London properties. The playing pieces were also changed to be: Mobile phone, Roller blade, Hamburger, Jumbo Jet, Racing Car, Skateboard and London Bus. This version was launched in recognition of the game's 70th anniversary in conjunction with an online version.

Depends on the version you play. From memory I think in the original there was the car, the thimble, a dog, an Iron, a wheelbarrow looking thing, a hat...I can't remember the others.
