Florida has had this FCAT for its students to graduate..is it working or is there a better solution?

The FCAT is such a piece of crap.. Even teachers have complained about it... It's ridiculous how a test evaluates whether you pass to the next grade or not... It's very stressful on the kids.. I don't think it's working at all.. The main purpose for it is to grade schools.. I'm glad when I was in school, it was as serious as it is now...

I think it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! I know a mother who's so is a straight A student all year in 3rd grade, never got a bad grade. He takes the FCAT and fails, they put him back in 3rd grade again next year!
