I did some research on-line and Bermuda Sod looks like your best bet. If your still not sure maby you should go to a nursery and ask them what kind you should use.

Bermuda sod will probably be your best bet. I've used it extensively on projects in the El Paso area. Others you can look at would be St. Augustine grass. I believe it will do fine in clay or sandy soils. Buffalograss would be a good alternative, but is very difficult to grow and find in sod pallets. Good Luck.

Some winter rye might also work if your looking for winter green.
