the second half with the teacher in Florida who got convicted of having sex with one of her 14 yr old students? It was interesting to see her,, she seemed very causal about the whole thing,, like she wasn't even sorry. She seemed very strange to me,, she kept blaming her actions on the fact she was raped at 13, and her having Bi Polar disorder. She almost seemed proud of what she had done? I am not sure,, but mostly my question is this,, they made the point last night,, if she had been a male teacher who had raped a female student that he would be in prison right now,, she didn't even stay in Jail over night,, and now is simply on house arrest? She even said she thought she should be in Jail,, ????

i think she should be in prison too especially with how she acts so casual about it .. but my cousin made a good point she is on house arrest .. so yeah she gets to stay home but what kind of life is that to be so close to the outside and not be able to enjoy it... but i still think she should be in prison..

I think the only reason this broad is out free today is simple, she's pretty. We are a visual society. She has the "american girl" look and for some reason it has made it okay that she raped a 14 year old boy. I give this example: Mary Kay did the EXACT same thing yet she got like 6 years in prison. Why? Because she wasn't a bubbly, blonde blue eyed, double d rockin Barbie look alike.
Life is easier for the attractive and that isn't an opinion, that's FACT....
Sad to say but if your oogley your behind better not even J WALK, but look like a model and you can basically do as you please....

never underestimate the power of a woman!
I didn't see it but I agree that something more drastic should have been done about this. At least some jail time would have seemed more acceptable then just house arrest.

damn i missed it...but i do agree..she should be in jail and if it were a male then he would've been locked up the second they cuffed him...women get cut slack for a lot

i think this society strives on contradictions and double standards, yea had that been a male he would of been locked up, no ifs ands or buts.
