I am 6ft1. It seems that the more expensive the car the lower it is. My current Astra is the biggest I can find. Any suggestions?

It's ugly, but it's beautiful as well. The Yaris Verso. Not available new anymore (surprisingly). No ducking for tall people. Easy in for stiff/disabled people. Rear seats fold into the floor to turn it into a mini-van (with 5' cube space) as and when you need it. All round visibility is excellent. Cheap insurance. And 50+mpg if you stick to the speed limit.

She's not pretty, but she's my baby.

Certainly, and jokingly he typed,
I would reccomend a Buggati Royale.
Headspace of about 6ft.
Unfortunately, they only made 7 of them, and the last one went for around $20m at auction.
You could do what my old tall friend did, and drive a bubble car with his head sticking out of the sun-roof. Great hilarity.
I'm around 5ft 7in., so my Transam fits me nicely.
Anyway, tall person,
Best of luck.
Bob

Assuming that a large SUV (Hummer type) isn't what you're looking for, have you looked at the new Ford Five Hundred. It's pretty tall for a car.

6 ft. men shouldn't drive little puddle jumpers. Go test drive a man's 4x4 truck. And not some imported wannabe truck either.
You will NOT have to duck to get into one of those.
