My children aren't deaf, but do know sign language. Regardless, they talk with their mouths full. I don't know where they picked up these shameless table manners. lol

haha u just said they use sign language so they do not talk !
but they can use sign language and eat i think :P
unless they have some holes at the tips of their fingers and eat from there haha

Well being deaf and a signer yes we are I also lipread which takes listening in to a whole new lvl lol good question

Yes! They are just not allowed to talk with their hands full. (Things can get kind of messy if they do.)

Well as signers use facial expressions to augment their signing -as in very sad, really ugly etc, ;like everyone else it can get really messy if they do!

my son is hearing impaired and i guess I never seen him sign with his mouth full...but it wouldnt bother me if he did

Yes they are.

My niece is hearing impaired and when you sign to her and she doesn't want to listen she closes her eyes!!!! I think it's hilarious but my sister doesn't think so.
