i live in the usa, and yes i know someone who snores me!!!!! i snore soo loud that my ex would sleep on the sofa. at one time it was so loud the lady in the next apartement could here it thru the wall, and one day she told me that, she used my snoring as a sleep aid? she said it was comforting to hear my snoring because when she was alone in her apartement she felt like someone was there with her, and then she got worried when i got sleep apnea because i would stop snoring a couple of times a night, and it scared her. i had to have sinus surgury for a deveated septom, then that cut my snoring down by half, and my doctor recomended sleeping with the window open at night to produce more air flow in my bedroom, for the sleep apnea. (of course he also said to lose some weight.) well i did everything he said but lose the waight and now its 17 years later i am married to a new man who can sleep thu earth quakes and train wreaks, which is good because, now when i sleep i snore louder than i did before and people have said it sounds like ther is a angry bear in my bedroom. go to the doctor about your snoring, there can be physical problems that are not obvious to you causing your snoring, and for gods sake do what he says because thr people you live with will be much nicer after a good nights sleep!!!!!

My husband snored. But he later found out he has Sleep apnea and is now on a breathing machine at night! So no more snoring!! He used to snore so loud that I would have to hit him to roll over or to just move to make him stop! New York

I snore. Pretty loud sometimes. It actually wakes me up! I think I have sleep apnea because my father was the same way, then diagnosed with sleep apnea and had surgery. Now he gets restful sleep and doesn't snore! Someday when I have more money and/or health insurance I will do the same.

My husband snores sometimes, not everynight. It sounds like a train is coming through our bedroom. I just wake him up and make him turn over, then he will usually stop, so I can sleep.
I live in the U.S.

If my mother is gone, my father wants me to sleep with him with my brother cause he don't want to be alone. But the bad news is he always snoring and biting his teeth. At that night I never slept, I slept but a little bit. So if he ask me again I would say NO!

I have snored all my life since I can remember. I also have apnea. I have never sought professional advise. I have just learned to live with it.
