I did this morning and it has happened before how the hell can you do this without waking up?

LOL, I used to when I was a kid. I later learned it was due to sleepwalking, which I eventually outgrew. (It doesn't happen anymore.) So you are probably sleepwalking.

If you wriggle in your sleep. For example, I used to share a bedroom with my brother, and he would sit up bolt upright every now and again, still fully asleep, then slump back down. If you do this, I imagine it's possible for you to slump forward instead of backwards, and adjust your posture to compensate, eventually lying the wrong way!
I've experienced this too, btw, it's very disorienting!

Yes, it means the topsy - turvey ghost has been to visit again, which is better than getting visited by wee-willy winkie, but that is a whole different ball game altogether. Lets not go there...

no, but i have woken up kneeling infront of my bed with my head on my arms. it was in a caravan, don't know if that had anything to do with it. get a friend to watch you. should be laugh.

every night when our 4 year old decides to join us at 3 in the morning.Its the only way to get any sleep,she has knees everwhere...............
