I have late blooming tomatoes. I pruned a bit too late and although I have tons of tomatoes and they're quite large, most of them are still a rich green. Is there hope for my crop?

It depends where you live. I'm in the Northeast and plan on picking my green ones in a few weeks and put them on a sunny window sill or a paper bag to ripen.

Here in Wisconsin we run into that delema too. Sometimes we freeze out on Labor Day. It my sound strange but pick them and put them in a brown grocery bag and they will ripen Good Luck !

Yes, if they don't have time to ripen on the vine before frost, bring them in, wrap in newspaper and put in a dark room - they'll ripen nicely. Just check them every few days to see how ripe they are.

There is still hope with your plants as long as their wont be prolonged cold weather. Once the temperature drops, then the plant will start to wither.
