Wife is due in a few months and we can't think of a good name. We would prefer something besides the usual (Juan, Jose, Jesus, etc). Something a little unique but not too weird. Especially interested in native latin american names. Any ideas?

Some decent ones so far...forgot to mention it is for a boy. Keep them coming. I've tried looking in several baby name books but they include predominantly American/English names. And who says there isn't such a thing as a Hispanic name?

Ok, I'm spanish (live in southamerica) and native latin american names are very weird because they are in native language that we don't even understand, and I'm guessing you don't want your kid beaing beated at school :-) Here are my sugestions, very popular nowadays down here:

you could also try Esteban, Enrique, Armando, Moises, Braulio, Marcos....
