The supposed "great" Penn St. defense allowed 40+ points to ND...so how many pts will Michigan let up? And ND's starters on D held penn st to 3 pts...(we wont count the 2 trash TD's against the third string) But even if michigan puts up some points (say between 20-25) I still see hanging up another 40 spot.

Chatter around campus has us at 7 over the Big Blue Babies.
I think that it is going to be a well fought and close game. Even though UM has had an easy season so far, I see them struggling against ND's defense and making some stupid mistakes.
I say Irish by 10 with 3 plays being made on turnovers that UM gives up.
I will be there with my green terrible towel, cheering for my team with all the enthusiam that I have!!!
GOOOOOO IRISH!!!!!!!!

I don't see it. Notre Dame biggest margin of victory EVER was 23 points, way back in 1943. Since then, they've only beat Michigan by more than 10 points twice, in 1987 and 1998.

On the other hand, Michigan shellacked Notre Dame 38-0 back just three years ago. LOL

I was thinking of a 20-25 point margin. I am expecting Brady Quinn to have another stellar passing game (hopefully the running game will amount to something instead of 2nd and 9 like it did last week) and a few touchdowns. My guess is, like you said, another 40+ score for the Irish.

I expect Michigan to be able to run the ball well and do a decent job passing. They will probably score between 21-24 points.

Michigan's D is better than Penn State and they have an experienced QB and a quality runner in Hart.

Still, Lloyd Carr will screw it up and ND will win by 7. I'd go 28-21.

Notre Dame wins this weekend no big surprise there, I go with 45-31.

Not like we are playing Rutgers which we have beaten 62-0 in the past.
