Let's say that you won enough money that you never had to work again, assuming that you managed your money wisely. With that being said, what things would you do differently at work? Would you outright quit, or would you have fun with it now that it didn't matter whether or not you had a job? What are some of the more interesting things that you'd do?

My boyfriend and I have discussed this many times and it is so much fun to think about! I am a business owner and currently have 50+ employees in a small, rural community. I would be at work the morning that I collected my money doing business as usual. Would I have to work? Absolutely not!! However, I feel that it would be unfair to take away for the other families who depend on my business to put a roof over their heads and food on their tables. I would take my winnings, pay off all of the debts owed by my business, and from there it would be business as usual. One thing I would do different would be to give my employees all two weeks paid vacation after I collected the winnings and give them each a set amount to spend for their families. I truly believe that it is important to help those who help you and there is no way my business would survive without my employees!! Oh well, wishful thinking, but lots of fun to think about!!

as i am allready retired
i would not have the saticfaction of throwing a party for my workmates , before telling the boss his'' life story''---
and skipping off home in my Rolls Royce car

What a pity , i would have enjoyed that .

STILL ,if i won a 'measly million ' now ,

i would swan off on a luxuary cruise ,

while an army of workmen, came and refurbished my kitchen and built the conservatory , i have always wanted !

Landscape my garden --

Hey ho ! and put up, some more shelves, for my books .

and decorate my house to a high standard .

Then i would come back and be me again

LOL!

Well down to earth ,
here i am .
,juggling my pension, to stretch , to broadband and a coach trip to Yarmouth, as my only luxuries this year !

>^,,^<.

it has always been a dream of mine to win the lottery and then go to work and for a change speak my mind about what a lousy job the company has been doing in regards to their treatment of their employees and how they run things,,I wouldn't do it right away and I wouldn't do it in a biligerant way,,just a little each day until I worked my way up the chain of command,,if i lost my job because of my honesty so be it but at least I would have a lot off my chest lol

Oh I would definitely quit; I mean, I wouldn't just leave my coworkers hanging, but I wouldn't stick around much longer! If I would pay off all my debts, give money to family, travel and then come back home and volunteer and dothings I really WANT to do...which might be staying home on my *** all day watching Ellen and The View!

I'd quit for sure and explore something more exotic and interesting... i'm in a 9a - 5p corporate structured environment have been for 25yrs. and i'm still young so think I'd say bu-bye and then try different more interesting/fun things. like flight attendant (for travel) or work at a National Park doing tours or something... and ultimately if that didn't inspire me I'd sell everything and travel all over the US then the other continents!

I would definitely quit. There are a lot of unemployed people in this country. Why "hog" a job you don't need! Give someone a chance to better care for their family.

I would keep my job and try not to change my life drastically. I would purchase a home, pay off my debts and put the rest away into an IRA fund/Roth account.

Go back to college and then do the job I wanted to do. If my job was already doing what I wanted to do, then I would volunteer to do it or keep the pay and donate that money.
