One fourth of july my dad told me it's cool if you throw jumping jacks (harmless little fireworks that dance around on the ground) in the air after lighting them. I decided to try this out, threw the thing straight up in the hair and then it took off to the left wear my little sister was standing landed in her long blonde mop and melted a portion of her hair... shortly thereafter my mom proceeded to let me have it, my dad stood there like an idot and did nothing in my defense... Was this fair??

You got the whooping your dad should have gotten when he was a kid. Sorry, that's just the circle of life biting you in the backside. Don't worry though, he is also in that circle and adults get spanked in a much worse fashion. So sit back, and watch his "fireworks". Oh, and you might want to hit the check spelling box before submitting your next question.

Your dad told you that you could throw them...he did not say throw them at your sister, or to act like an imbicile.
Grow up Junior.

no this was not fair, your dad should of spoke up for what he told you.He most likley was afraid of what his wife would think. He should at least apploigize to you for this, since his the one told you about it,and you took the whoopin.Sometimes parents makes mistakes too,and they need to take resposibility for it,even if is just a sorry.
