I would like to join a youth theatre In southampton but not one where you have to pay like £20 every time you are involved in a performance. It needs to have good lighting and sound equipment i.e. sound board and lighting board as I am more interested in doing the technical than acting. Does anyone know of any good ones that I could be part of. I am 16 btw. Thanks

You should ask your local theatre. Most professional and amateur regional theatres operate a youth theatre. There are a number in Leicester/Leicestershire, so I'm assuming it's the same everywhere.
