desperately need to contact a good blacksmith in n /central ark?

i have a hatchet that needs to be modified and retempered. there are no blacksmith shops left anywhere that i know of-i am unable to locate an aprperate catagory to submit this queston-

Try the yellow pages on line. Also check with you local machine shops they may do it know someone who will.

The best thing for you to do is contact a horse stable and ask them to give you a list of farriers in your area. One of them could either do the work, or give you the name of a blacksmith.
