Encourage her to think of her future and try to take the best view of what has happened, since it can't now be changed. For example, if she understandably berates herself for marrying him, tell her what a good thing it is that it didn't go on for longer. That's only two months out of her life gone. In England you can't even file for divorce till you've been married a year and then it generally around another 6 to 9 months for the divorce to go through. Tell her to learn from this and to not be in a hurry to be in another relationship. She should value herself and make sure any man she is with values her too. At 18 she was really much too young to be married anyway. Tell your friend she's beautiful and wonderful, he didn't deserve her, and that there's so much more to life than men and marriage!

Let her use you like a crutch. If she needs someone you be there. Boast her spirits when she down. Take control of the bad situation and make it better. Like if she having a bad day say Come on lets go shopping or let's go have some lunch. Right now she needs you the most just be there for her and you two can get through this together. That's what friends are for. Tell her and give her courage! Be assuring like I'm here for you and I'll help you get through this. Etc. Good Luck.

As a friend I would recommend that you have her go to counseling. She needs help to get through this. As a friend all you can do is be there if she needs that shoulder to lean on ie..crying, talking, etc... Sorry to hear that she had this happen to her but something wasnt right from the beginning. Love sometimes can blind you. Hope your friend turns out ok. Maybe taking her out and having some fun instead of her sitting around upset about the situation will help her also. Good luck.

The best thing you can do is just be her friend and support her. Some times just talking to a friend is all the psychological help a person really needs. If you see that she is having a lot of trouble dealing with thing then maybe you can talk to her about going to see a professional for some assistance.

You just let your friend know that you are their for her, and anytime she needs to talk, anytime of day or night call. And tell her You know it may be hard right now, But he did her a favor, she does not need no one to hit her, or be cruel to her. because if he did it once he will do it again, tell her to try and get her life together, and don't go back to him, he will be calling, the next time to take it slow, when she meets a person, get to know him. Tell her to think of it as God giving her another chance at happiness, freedom!!!

All you can really do is be there for her as a friend.
You need to tell her to NEVER have anything to do with this man again and she needs some counseling to deal with what happened.
Make sure she never makes the same mistakes again
Good Luck

just be there as a friend and provide support for her. there's nothing else you can do about her ex. if she wants, she can make a police report aginst her ex but you shouldn't confront him. don't put yourself in danger.
