I have read many questions about woman who have sore/painful breast as an indicator to pregnancy, but I want to know what type of pain. See I have been having sensations, off & on, run through my breast, sometimes they are painful and other times they are just tender sensations. My breasts are not sore to touch. I don't normally get tender or sore boobs during pms, so that is why I am asking to describe the pain.

* I am expecting my period this Saturday, but I also have been ttc. I am trying to be good at waiting these long two weeks patiently! I plan to test on Saturday if AF does not arrive by then.

It's different with everyone, but with most women their breasts will be tender thru the first trimester. If your period isn't expected until Saturday, chances are your breasts are not going to be really sore just yet.

With my first pregnancy, I noticed when pressed on my breasts they would feel really tender, almost like pressing on a bruise. With my second pregnancy, I didn't get any tenderness in my breasts early on, but the day before I was scheduled to start my period, my nipples began to get sensitive. If I pinched them, I would get shooting pains (not that I normally do this, but when you are looking for pregnancy symptoms you'll do anything - lol). However, in both cases it was when they were touched, it's not like they hurt constantly.

I know all too well how long those 2 weeks are. We are in our 4th month ttc again. Good luck!!!

well some say that the pain is so severe that it is tender to the touch or hurts from showering;;
and i was gonna say too about the pms but like you said you dont normaly get the sore boobs during pms so your chances sound good ..
but some ppl who want to be pregnant so bad think about it so much that your mind may cause the soreness..and the stress can actually cause some ladies not to ovulate stress makes a big difference
when i was younger i never had sore boobs unless i was pregnant and now i get it every month with pms ..and the first time it happened i thougt i was pregnant ..but not :( so
if you had intercourse on the days your suppost to and well your chances may be good..are you having any other symptoms tired more or anything ?

It's already been said that everyone is different, but mine just ache. It's like a constant dull ache, sometimes you can tell if your breast are swollen, or if the areola is darker with more pronounced white areas. Breast tenderness is not always a good indication though, best of luck to you and yours!!

I'm trying to conceive also but the sad thing about it is that the pain are similiar so the only way for you to find out is to wait for a miss period if you are normal or just test
