If a train is going @ 100mph and is going to virginia, which is 75.63 miles away how long will it take for the train to get to virginia,
How long will it take for another train that is traveling 150mph

To solve these kinds of problem just divide the distance by the speed.

Is the 2nd train the same distance? And when is it going cos if they're going at the same time the two trains will crash so no one will arrive in virginia! x

time=distance /speed
train1 .7563 hr= appox 45 min
train2=45(2/3)=30 min approx

100mph = 100m/60mins = 1m/60/100mins = 1mile per .6mins
75.63miles will take 45.378mins

150mph = 150m/60mins = 1m/60/150mins = 1m per .4mins
75.63miles will take 30.252mins
