JoBu always means it when he says it. Obviously there are different connotations for the word. JoBu loves his woman like he loves no one else in the romantic text. But I have love for all my friends and family as I got your back and will be there for you love. I love my dog in the playfull puppy style of love, and I love you as only a voodoo doll can love a blue faerie, the sweetest kind around.

Rum shots to "I love you"

I have had those words thrown in my direction, as a romantic gesture or apology, enough times to know that the need to say them often means the emotion is sadly lacking.
I love and adore many people, friends and family, and am happy to tell them so. However, as for the love that may be shared between two people, which may only grow when nurtured by both, those three little words are too insignificant to come close to expressing what fills my very being...

No, I made the mistake of lots of "I love you"'s once, never again. As mushy I am about a certain lass the now, I might never tell her I love her. In my experience it's either an understatement, or an unfair load of expectations. I know, I'm cynical, and sometimes I'm sorry for it ;o)
When I would tell her though, it'd be because I mean it, but am lost for words or actions. I wouldn't want her to read or listen "I love you" and then convince herself it's true, just because everyone else seems to believe it. I'd want to find ways to make every little cell in her body tingle and smile, for all the tiny neutrons to grab a fiddle and dance. And for her to not have been more sure of anything before, than of my love for her. I love you not, ik heb je lief.

Those are three very important words that should never be taken lightly or said without feeling. By telling someone that you love them without really meaning it, you could be doing more harm then good...what if they really do fall for you and then when you decide to move on, you will hurt them badly because they think that you are in love with them. Being honest is definitely the best way to go.

If the words "I Love You" are thrown around without thought, they become just words, and people stop hearing them after a while and will tend to give an automated "I Love you too" response without really meaning it, or sometimes being really aware of saying it.

Once you have said it too many times to someone, how do you say it to emphasis how much you love them.

Saying it 100x a day will never top one act of true love. Actions speak louder than word.

No. If you throw around I love you, then your just setting someone up for heartbreak if you don't really mean it. Those are pretty strong words to just throw around.

I don't throw it around. I always mean it when I say it.

I personally dont throw around I love you, it can really hurt people if they think that you honestly do love them and you dont.
I save those words for those that I truly do care about..

The only people I ever really say it to these days are my kids, and Yes I really mean it.

Love is too strong of a feeling to be just thrown around....I only say it if I mean it.
