I think the American reaction to the "British Invasion" in the 60's proves that for a very long time, Americans thought everything the BRITISH did was BETTER. And that's just for starters. Think about it.
And if you took a random survey of Americans about Paris Hilton's "talents" I'm more than sure the vast majority would NOT extoll her virtues (of ANY kind).

Actually Paris Hilton has her own line of clothes, nightclubs, purfume and she was a catwalk model, so I think you need to research a bit more before you go and 'slag' her. I think that was an incredibly broad stereotype and a ridiculous one at that. Fair enough, England has some fantastic artists, as does Australia (my country) but America is a stand out due to the fact that they are such a large country. Large country= large population=larger selection of talent. I think you may need to look into aggression councilling.

I know what you mean. I mean really The Beatles came from Britain, The Ramones, Coldplay, Snow Patrol formed in Britian. Really America's music just sucks because it all sounds the same. It's all pretty much computerized voices. I love British music. And Paris Hilton sucks! People who like her music or just her, are plain crazy.

I'm American, and some of my favorite bands are British. Why do people have to generalize Americans so much??? I'm so sick of it!! Paris Hilton is a joke, anyone with taste knows that, regardless of where they are from. Good music is good music, whether it be American, British, etc...
All music lovers know this...even the American ones.

Way to generalize... and I know very few ppl who actually think that Paris Hilton is a singer here in the states. My radio station publicly bashed her single on air. Very humorous stuff. Everyone has their own tastes though...

Thank you Tori!! I live in the United States and yes alot of people think that we are better than everyone else, but we all die the same way, bleed when cut, cry when sad or angry, and etc. I hate the way our government treats hispanics and their culture. I love living here due to our democratic way and our fight for freedom, but we do need to indeed check ourselves. I think Chris Rock said the right was: Forget God Bless America Cod Bless the World.
