I have had the picinic in the living room which went great. I need more ideas.

Picnics in the living room are great so is putting on those goofy 3D glasses and watching a 3D movie.
Men like to do something while they are with you. Just talking almost never works, so activities are wonderful.
1. Food is an aphrodisiac. Chopping up ingredients, listening to pop songs and then eating is great. Get that mouth warmed up for action.
2. Special desserts are fun. A variation on the picnic is root beer floats and a romantic comedy from our teen years.
3. Planning is part of the fun -- going shopping together and creating the evening can make it an entire day event.
4. Putting quilts and pillows (making a bed) on the living room floor is pretty fun.
5. I wish I could have taught my partner how to dance (btw Shall We Dance with Richard Gere is a good date movie)
It think it's all romantic if you do it together. Even something like card games and jigsaw puzzles are rewarding (we always played Linda Ronstadts covers of jazz standards)
If the eventual goal is s-e-x, then that's another story -- weaving in those elements of anticipation is great fun!

We have very few night alone so I wanted to make it something special. I had a hot bath waiting on him we he got home. I had run the water before he got home and took a decorative bottle and but our first love note in it sealed it and put it in the bath water. I left notes a the front door and too the bathroom telling him this was his special night. He came in smiling climb into the bath I had his favorite music playing and gave him a beer and told him to relax as i started the steaks. When dinner was ready I had candles and wine. I had made out questions for him to answers over dinner.( what is your favorite childhood memory. Different things like that. Before he came home I had bought 10 red balloon's blew them up with sexy notes of what I was going to do to him. He popped them one at a time but, he could not use his hands to pop them. He either sat on them or bite them it was so funny. After this we did the things the notes were saying. We made love and fell asleep in each others arms it was great. That was almost a year ago and he still says that is one of his fondest memory's. Good luck.

How about decorating the living room for a luau theme night? Try orientaltrading.com for cheap decorations and accessories. Maybe you can't go on a Hawaian vacation but you can always pretend. You can even get a CD of ukelele music or put on one of those DVDs of the ocean and landscapes, etc.

after that romantic picnic you can give him a sensual massage...light scented candles in the bedroom and use aromatherapy massage oil while playing a good saxophone music cd..

Get one of those portable strip poles and give your man a show. We all dreamed of doing a strip tease. Make up your own rountine. Make it fun. He will love that.

Last night we cuddle had a nice dinner( i cooked), and watched movies and made love to each other twice. Really simple but I loved it.
