I have all my preferences checked off correctly in my Paypal email preferences profile.

I am suposed to get an email notification EVERY time a payment comes. However this past week and at other times, I have been getting only SOME notices... but not ALL of them :(

Just yesterday alone 2 out of 4 payments didn't send payment notices to my email. I emailed Paypal about it and they told me to check my profile preferences (duhhh) but they ARE SET correctly. :)

So I am wondering if any of YOU are having similar Paypal glitches with your email notifications. If so... how are you fixing it?

Thanks for your time :)

Fix it by never using paypal again. They put a hold on my account for months, didn't give me a reason, then made one up telling me that they were concerned with pirated material even though everything I sold was legit and was confirmed. They even started getting into saying how there are copyrights on Star Wars toys. But they couldn't freakin explain to me how a person can possibly break a copyright on an action figure. I did everything they asked, they promised to clear my account because I had a lot of money in there they wouldn't let me get to. After doing everything they asked to do to clear the account they still left the hold on and wouldn't return calls and pushed me around. They didn't realize I had everything documented, everything. I sent the info to them and the Attorney General as well as Ebay and BBB. After sending them about 1000 emails which were the same each time stating how they lied and how I no longer have nothing to say since I will be dealing with it through the attorney generals office, they suddenly cleared and repopened my account, and believe it or not I still got emails from their company about my account being on hold even though it wasn't anymore. That is when I got my money out and closed the account for good. I do caution using paypal for anything.

Your problem may very well have to do with the poor quality of service by paypal's main office. They do not communicate with other departments well at all. I would call paypal and only speak to a supervisor if you want to get something really done, the people who answer the phone can't help.

Yes, for the last couple of weeks.
I'm experiencing the same email notifications issue as you.
Plus for some people, when they try to purchase they are receiving an error. They definitely have something going on at the moment.

You should probably log back into your eBay and Paypal accounts again and check to be sure that the address was changed. Sometimes it takes a time or two for changes to something online to take effect. I always make the change, log out and close the browser. Then open the browser and log back in again to make sure the change works. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

I got an e-mail from PayPal that said there was a problem with my account and they needed me to verify some information. The only problem I could find was that I don't have a PayPal account! I have never used them - I heard that they were a scam, but don't know this to be true. Better safe than sorry I say.

I also noticed this in my Paypal. It was only this time so I tought that it was just one off issue. After that I didn't receive any payment so I don't know if it was fixed or not.

The only problem I've had is that they refuse to verify my address since my husband and I share a bank account and the account is already being used to verify his address. You would thing that they could check the account, see that there are two names on the account and let us both use it.

Otherwise, no problems and I've been with them since 2001.

Good luck and hope everything gets resolved soon!

Well, as a general rule of thumb, PayPal is evil. Lots of ppl have all sorts of issues with PayPal (and in all instances the tech support is palrty at best).

Check out paypalsucks.com for other sorts of issues you should be aware of.

It happens to me somtimes. I have used them since year 2000 for my websites and it sometimes causes a big probelm. What I have had to do is login everyday and compare my emails against the history.

DON'T USE PAYPAL.... THEY ARE A LIBERAL INSTITUTION.
RUN A LOT LIKE THE GESTAPO. THEY WILL DEEM YOUR ACCOUNT IN VIOLATION OF SOME FORM OF THERE "RULES" AND THEY WILL HOLD YOUR MONEY IN THERE BANK FOR 6MONTHS. WITH NO WAY FOR YOU TO GET TO IT IN THAT TIME.

DON'T USE THEM!!!!
