Some are great, some we don't associate with. My husband's first wife treated his mother like garbage (she was 80 when they divorced, and is the sweetest little old lady you can imagine), so I could be Jack the Ripper and be welcomed by her. I have a thirty year old niece who came running up to me the first time I met them all, threw her arms around me, and cried out happily, "I hear you're going to be my AUNT!" (she's been my favorite ever since). I have a sister-in-law who is great, along with 2 great nieces and two great-nephew who are adorable.
But that doesn't mean everybody's lovey-dovey. I also have a sister-in-law who took Ed's ex's side in their divorce, and a brother-in-law who lived in one of his mother's houses without ever paying rent, and let it run down to the point that they gave it away, because repairs would have cost more than the house was worth. I can shut them out, though, and concentrate on the good ones.

My husbands Biological father I don't know. I have talked to him a couple times but have never met him. I don't really like him but then again neither does my husband ( I think thats where I got it from).
His mother I used to love. She was like a second mother to me until I realized how two faced she was, now I really can't stand her. I know my husband loves her but he is really mad at her right now and isn't talking to her and I also know that oneday when we have kids I am going to have to learn to tollerate her.
His step father is awesome. He is a very quiet man until he feels he needs to say something. He is the only person that really trys to keep the kids in line. He stays out of the drama and what everyone says and thinks about everyone else. He is about the only one I actually like.
My brother in law and his girl I get along with. I sometimes talk to them and I am happy for them being together and raising their son.

I do like my in-laws but they are very different from me. That can cause issues sometimes. I am very set in my ways as they are. I always know they mean the best. It's the sister in-law that causes the most issue. I'm trying to not "sweat the small stuff". It's most ly little annoyances that I just live with. None of it will end my world.

Well, do you know that one third of the divorce in europe is because of their mother in law. Well I think you have to talk to her more and know her well. No choice, she is the mother of your beloved man.
By the way tell you some jokes to make you feel better, and the jokes goes:
-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?
One more joke:
A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.
Last of all just want to tell you that whatever you do, just don't give up. Also you must love and care for the people around you. In that way they will also show you the love that you show to them. Just be yourself and happy everyday. Wish you all the best and good luck!!

My mother-in-law is scary - even my husband can't stand her. She completely flips out over little stuff, and had the audacity to CUSS in front of our children at christmas - including the f-bomb.

I love my mother-in-law and my step father-in-law and my father-in-law and my step mother-in-law AND simply adores my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law.
By the way, my husband loves his mother-in-law, likes his father-in-law, thinks that his step mother-in-law is okay, but doesn't have feelings at all either way for his step father-in-law. He also thinks that both his brothers-in-law are great. One sister-in-law is okay... but the other sister-in-law...HATES HER TO DEATH!
