I replaced the 72-pin connector and cleaned the games. I still get the blinking power light and sometimes a grey screen. I'm wondering if there's anything more I can do.

the 72 pin connector is supposed to stop the blinking screen. perhaps you bought a bad one? also, see that everything is put together, and nothing is loose

Yeah it's some chip on the board. Nothing you can do about that :( Get a different nes and swap in that nice new 72 pin connector you got though :)

but go to where u bougt the 72 pin connector now 72 pi con will not work bcz it is not geniun go to te big shop n asked to the shopkeeper thta u want 72 and a 1/2 sized connector then he will gave it to u then conec or otherwise change the whole socket it costs 15$ n 62 cents :)
