Why not just cut spending? The federal budget is about $2.5 Trillion, we are projected to take in $2 trillion. Why not just cut spending to $1.5 trillion so we can pay off $500 billion every year instead of adding it?

No need for such drastic action. Just help get the Fair Tax passed. It's the most logical tax ever. People who earn money illegally or under the table will now pay taxes. People will no longer be able to hire expensive accountants to keep from paying what they should. And everyone gets a rebate to cover the taxes on necessities, so the poor pay no taxes until they buy a luxury item.

I say forget the plutocrats and give them a free ride.

It is only 1% of America that wants the Free pass on taxes. We will spend more money debating and passing laws than will ever be recouped from the plutocrats paying taxes.

With a no tax for the rich policy it will usher in the inevitable class division and isolation of the rich. And that is what brings on Bastille Day.

The law of supply side economics (or trickle down economics if you prefer) is the biggest lie ever told by the republicans, let me rephrase that, one of the biggest lies.

The theory is that if you tax large income earners less (specifically large corporations) they will invest more and create more jobs. The republican have been putting this into place whenever they get the opportunity ever since the Reagan years. It has never worked and years of data have shown this. the only reason they still fight for it are purely selfish reasons.
