and why would you be that way? you can be open about it here. Most 30's workers probably won't retire from where they work now.

I would be sad as I would miss the excellent colleagues, the travel, the work environment and the fun....but then I work for a company in China where companies take good care of their workers.

I would have mixed feelings about it. Happy to leave for
retirement after maybe 30 years of working life, I'll be heading
to the Bahamas for a long vacation, where the waters are crystal clear and the women, oh yes the women are beautiful, voluptuous and sexy.
At the same time, I feel sad to depart from my faithful and trusted
colleagues who have, through thick and thin, given support and
understanding to me for all these years of my working life.
I would remember and cherish this moments.....

I owned my own restaurant. After 8.5 years I walked in one day to discover my fiance (at the time) had taken all the furnishings, cookware, paintings, etc... I didn't cry. While I loved my place, it was the end of a good run, and time to retire. So it was both. I'm not returning to ownership again.

I would be very.....very happy. It's a boring job with no challenges, and I'm not treated very well either.

My previous job was a different matter. I was there 20 years, but several changes took place that ruined the place and made me want to leave.
