a plug-in is a software that helps you enhance your web browsing, since nowadays, a web page is more than text, these programs allow you to access certain features of a web page such as animation, movies, etc. to add interactivity and enhance your browsing the Net.

u wanted it to be simple............

i will keep it in laymen's terms.....


you had a tv, you are not satisfied with the output you are getting....

so installed some other instruments to improve the output,
after installing the extra instruments the ouput has improved....

so these extra instruments installed here, say home theater sytem with surround sound capability, can be called as a plugin
