No debts that I am aware of, it's a pre-recorded phone call (usually same guy, you can tell from the voice, just going by different names) - sounds like some harassing marketing scam. problem is that the call is not coming from that number, it comes from some computer, i assume over VOIP, so blocking that number wouldn't help much.

I added my number to the do-not-call list some weeks ago, didn't seem to have helped with these people

Give this number to your local county attorney... He / she should be able to have this taken care of in a day! Thats what they are for and free of charge... The county / you / me pay their salary!

call your network providor and ask them to bar their number! i did it with smart telecom and its impossible for them to call you back, the recorded ones only have one line, so you dont have to worry about them calling you through a differant number! hope this answer helps!

Put your phone number on the national do-not-call registry, and you won't have to worry about it! It may take a little time, but it does wonders!

Call the phone co. and complain. Maybe they can put a block on your phone. I hope you aren't giving someone a free ad here.

I go with Kitty on what to do - especially since this way of marketing is illegal.

well if you have debt problems than it could be collections agencies....they are mean when they talk to you...and if not than it could be those people that try to sell time shares...they call me all the time.
