Mm mm... Well, obviously, you need more members on your band, you´re three in total, you need a drummer, a bass player, (you) a guitar player, and a lead singer... then you gotta practice all the time, and when I mean all the time, I mean all the time, you need to progress on your skills if you wanna get it to the top...
Now start saving some money, you gotta buy your time and place on some local´s... that´s somehow, you need to get started...
Oh! Almost forgot, also need a name for the band

cool! I remember the days where my band was still intact, we play music that would make the people remember us..second is to give the people our best performance..and 3rd is the massage that you we would like to relate to the people....so I suggest to you to cover a song that would fit to the attitude of your band as your signature..and create a song that would make the people, and other bands identify and remember whenever it is played.....
also you have to practice regularly..not just on playing your instrument but everything like ,performing on stage you have to get in touch to the audience let them be a part of your music...
I hope you this could help to start your band...
good luck!! and rock on!!!!!!

If your gonna play in Texas, you've gotta have a fiddle in the band!
That lead guitar is hot, but not for a Louisiana man!

1. Well the first thing to do is to discuss what kind of band you want to be. (Who are your influences??)
2. Then decide are you a rock band, pop-punk, pop, emo, etc decide what kind of style or genre you want to be.
3. Discuss what songs you will perform and maybe what songs you will need to learn.
4. Will you be writing some original songs?
5. Practice, practice, practice
6. Schedule your first gig. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!
I'm in a band too. If you want you can email me, and we could discuss more band information. Just check out my profile and email me if you want. Also remember one thing, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

well here is the deal if you like playing together practise till your fingers bleed. or at least until you get tired. the more you practice the more you know each others style so thats great plus if you know several songs by heart then you can at least play those if you want to do any live proformances.

If you can't get the banjo, try for a mandolin--LOL. No offense intended. If you truly are not very good, maybe you should consider lessons--most good musicians love to perpetuate their art by mentoring others. Practice a lot and don't get discouraged. GOOD LUCK!!
